Large-bloomed hybrid wichuranas....Albéric Barbier, 1900 (Barbier): Small bud, yellow; Bloom 8-9 cm across, double, fragrant, cream-white with deep yellow center, solitary or in clusters on strong stalk. Foliage medium-sized, glossy dark bronze-green, healthy. Quite lush growth, 4 m. Not quite hardy, blooms floriferously in June. R. Wichuraiana x Shirley Hibberd.

Large-bloomed hybrid wichuranas....Albertine, 1921 (Barbier): Bud large, ovoid, dark yellowish red; bloom 8-9 cm, double, open, cupped, very lasting, fragrant, coppery yellow inside, vivid coppery salmon-pink outside, in clusters on medium-length stalk. Small-bloomed hybrid wichuranas....American Pillar, 1902 (Van Fleet): bloom 4-5 cm, open, very lasting, mildly fragrant, vivid pink with white eye. Golden-yellow stamens, enormous clusters on long, strong stalk, red fruit in autumn. Abundant foliage, large, deep green, leathery, occasionally somewhat susceptible to mildew. Canes to 6 m. Best rose of the group. R. Wichuraiana x R. setigera x red Hybrid Perpetual.

Rosa pendulina....Augenschein, 1905 (P. lambert): Bloom 6-7 cm, lightly filled, strong fragrance, glossy white, with light yellowish shading when expanding, to 3-7 on long stems. Glossy green elongated foliage. Green canes, almost without prickles. Blooms immediately after Mme. Sancy de Parabère. Very good for arches and pillars.

Large-bloomed hybrid wichuranas....Aviateur Blériot, 1910 (Fauque & Fils): Bud medium size, light orange-yellow; bloom 5 cm, double, light orange-yellow, passing to white, base lemon-yellow, in clusters on medium-length stalk. Foliage leathery, glossy dark bronze-green, healthy. 4 m tall. Blooms floriferously in June. R. Wichuraiana x William Allen Richardson.

Large-bloomed hybrid wichuranas....Blaze, 1932 (Jackson & Perkins): Like Paul's Scarlet Climber, of which it is said to be a repeating form. However, it seems that a non-repeating form is in culture here, therefore needs to be observed closely. Would be a valuable complement.

Large-bloomed hybrid wichuranas....Breeze Hill, 1926 (Van Fleet): Bud large, ovoid, slightly darker as a bloom; this is 7,5 cm across, double, cupped, lasting, moderately fragrant, deep cream-yellow with salmon-pink shading, later lighter, solitary or up to seven on medium-length stalk. Sufficient foliage, medium size, deep green, leathery, quite healthy. Strongly armed. Growth with strong canes, moderately climbing, bushy. Blooms floriferously from mid June to beginning of July. R. Wichuraiana x Beauté de Lyon.

Large-bloomed hybrid wichuranas....Coupe d'Or, 1930 (Barbier&Co.): Pointed bud; bloom 7 to 8 cm, double, open, cupped, lasting, fragrant, canary-yellow, somewhat lighter when expanding, to several on medium-length stalk. Sufficient foliage, medium size, glossy deep green, leathery, healthy. Lush growth, climbing or creeping. Blooms floriferously May-June. Susceptible to frost.
