Paeonia obovata Maxim. Name: Horap or Orap. the root is used by the Ainus internally against stomach ache, externally against bruises. The juice of the chewed seeds are utilised against eye infections, seeds smoked with tobacco against ear pains. Litterature: Pharm. Journ. and trans. 1896, Nr. 1336.
