I get this rose named Imperatrice Josephine, which obviously it is not, it have all the characteristic of a Portland: the prickles, the way it grows,it is somehow erect, 1,50m. high, but ungainly and prone to mildew and black pot, the receptacles are typically portland, so the leaves. It flower in one and clusters of three and repeat very well at the end of summer-early autumn, it is very double and large 9-10 cm diameter, and with a strong damask fragrance, the colour is deep pink to purple- violet, have short and strong peduncles that nest in the leaves. ¿May be this rose is 'Saisons d'Italie'?, or something close to '`Rose du Roi??, Anyone can say something about this?
May be H.P?
