here I go again This rose was given to me from a friend in November of 2005, from the time of planting it took the first year to grow and didn’t produce a flower until the following spring.
The flower opens to about 2 inches in diameter with 56 petals its color is a light pink bud with a dash of yellow at the base of the bud. It spills out a very fragrant aroma and can be detected several feet away from the plant. “I wish I knew odors”.
The canes are slender with very few thorns on them the foliage is a light green with small leafs.
It appears to be of a climbing variety of the dwarf tea rose group.
The shrub appears to be disease resistant.
Update: With a lot of looking and desperate decisions and after a couple of years it has matched every category so I am going to claim this as a Brownlow Hill Rambler It is absolutly dazzling with the explosion of the one time bloom and the intoxicating aroma.
