in gardens, Bagatelle Park/La Roseraie de Bagatelle in notes : there is a mistake in the way of writing the name of Jean Claude Nicolas Forestier and not as it is written : Jean-Claude Nicholas

An old tourist guide (1997) mentions a rose event at Bagatelle in late May. Does anyone know if there is a special event associated with the rose gardens this spring (2003)? Would roses be in good display in late May?

As spring 2003 was very mild here in Central Europe, I presume that at the end of May, a lot of roses will allready be flowering ; I am living around Brussels, Belgium, approx. 300kms more in the north and my botanic- as well as my English roses are in flower, also Mme Alfred Carriere ; I would take the risk ; and if you do so, don't forget to visit also Roseraie de L'Hayé, you will enjoy your visit ! Anyway, I wish you good luck
