My favorite photo on this site! I am afraid that this rose is extinct, so it is only in photos like this that it lives on.

A friend has a wonderful Valencia in her yard. It definitely is not extinct. We plan to get one if can find one at a local nursery. We don't mail order roses and may end up trying to root cuttings. Click on the 'Buy From' tab at the top of the Valencia page. There are a few listed. Dave Edit: I checked the S&W site and the Valencia they have is the 1989 version. Didn't check the other 2 sites listed. |
