Grazie for all the photos you've been posting! They are beautiful and inspiring. For instance, now I'm inspired to plant some orange tiger lilies. Do you know the variety of lily you have pictured here?

Thank you. I'm happy that you liked the photos. Unfortunately I don't know the exact name of the lily : it grows wild in my garden and I don't remember how it came the first time. I think it is an hybrid of lilium davidii but I don't know exactly the commercial name, I'm sorry. This lilium has a very nice habit : it produces near each leaf a tiny bulb that when it falls on the ground produces a new lilium in a couple of years. Ain't funny? It is the ideal plant for a lazy's garden (english translation of Il giardino dei pigri)
