Soeur Therese and Mrs. Erskine Pembrook Thom both blew FAST in the heat. I can well imagine what it took for you to catch her just right. Thank you! I'm so glad you're having as much fun enjoying them as I am! Kim

It's interesting to note that the photo of Soeur Therese was taken on April 18, 2007, Kim, which is somewhat puzzling. I started the move to the high desert in August 2006 and completed the move in February 2007, so the photo would have been taken up here. My roses have never come into bloom that early up here, but perhaps it had just been moved up and was primed and set to bloom down below and nothing interfered with it doing just that after the move. So it would likely have been quite cool when the photo was taken.

That makes sense. It was cool so the color was saturated and the form held longer than a breath!
