I had a bloom on Agnes this summer that was this coloration - very pinkish. I wondered if it could be weather (extreme prolonged heat?) I don't doubt that Marina took this photo of her Agnes.

I don't doubt it either. I have had the same experience of 'Agnes' flushing pink with heat. (see comments) David Ruston in hot Renmark, S.A. has also said "can take on hints of pink". (see 2004 reference). Admin - is it possible to remove the photo error notation?
