Could this be a Geschwind Rose?

I have only ever noticed the literature on Geschwind's roses out of the corner of my eye, and now thanks to you and Kim, I need to hunker down and do some reading. Thanks.
Patricia

oh - and I need to put the thought of R. centifolia out of my teeming brain as well.

Other than the apparent growth habit, it does have a lot of the feel of Gilda to me.

Thank you Kim. To have guidance like this is so much appreciated.
It is close and I need to go and read up on 'Gilda'. However, a quick comparison of the photos tells me that 'Gilda's sepals are not as long as the "Brooks Rose". And 'Gilda's thorns have more of a curve than the straighter "Brooks Rose" thorns. But I look forward to reading more.
