This rose was purchased from Rose Barni. They grafted budwood of Bella di Monza from Roseto di Monza. Roseto di Monza got the budwood from Mr. M. Brunel, former Curator of La Roseraie de L'Hay les Roses. Prof. Joyaux, President of the Rosa Gallica Association rised some doubts on its authenticity, authenticity that is still questioned (Rosa Serratipetala?).	REPLY
