These roses look almost unreal! Gorgeous! What is the plant like? Does it make an attractive garden shrub? How is the bloom repeat and disease resistance? Thank you for any information you can provide!

Hi Sally, We have one of these rose bushes growing very succesfully in our garden in Berkshire, England. The first year it was planted was very disappointing (we only had a few blooms on it), but in subsequent years it has been very floriferous. It produces large blooms about 3" across with lovely crinkled edge petals. It has never suffered from any kind of disease (despite being between two other roses that caught mildew last year). The flowering season for it is quite long here. The first bloom appeared in May and the last in late November. I do reccomend it as a beautiful, but unusual rose.

Thank you for taking time to answer my questions. I do love unusual roses, but prefer the ones that are also good garden performers. Sounds like this one would be a good one to have.
