I have a "Love's Promise rose bush. My daughter gave it to me for Mother's Day, several years ago. It is one of the most beautiful (velvet-like) rose I've ever seen, and the fragrance is awesome! I live in Ohio so I probably can't help in giving you tips on the bush. I've tried to find information on it, myself, out of curiosity, but can't seem to find any. Your post is the first I've seen. I typed it in at Jackson and Perkins, and different rose sites and nothing comes up. I can't imagine why it was not popular enough to keep. I LOVE my Love's Promise. Right now it looks pretty scraggly and is ready to be pruned. I also plan on transplanting it for the first time this spring. I really hope it prospers after the transplant. Hope you get the answers you are looking for.

I just got a "Love's Promise" Grandiflora Rose Bush and I need to know when is best to plant it? I live in Belchertown, Ma. which is a Hardiness Zone 5 and weather may drop below -5 Degrees Farenheit in the winter season. I'm going to try planting it now but I wanted to know what you thought first.
