Clusters of slightly fragrant, star-like, pinkish purple blossoms tinged green just under 2 inches (5 cm) wide with yellow center. Richer color in slight shade. Reddish or coppery gray-green foliage on red canes. Reddish-purple hips. Disease resistant. Very hardy (zone 2 to 3).
