'Bai Yu Tang' ("White Jade Hall") The flowers are double, with petals of pure white, and their diameter is the smallest of all of the roses in the R. multiflora var. cathayensis group. Other characteristics are similar to R. multiflora. It is very cold hardy, and thus is commonly used for rootstocks in northern China, especially Beijing.
