'Xiao Ye Yue Yue Hong' ("Small-leaved monthly red China") was collected in Nanjing. It has erect stems and small leaves. The semi-double flowers have petals that are poinsettia-red and white at the base. The rose, which is almost evergreen, is similar to R. chinensis var. semperflorens except that the stems lack glandular hairs.
