My personal opinion is that the seedling portion of this rose is Dickson's 'Yellow Ribbon' (1977).

I would like to suggest an enhancement of the Parentage by Name and Descendants by Name search results pages.
Currently, the names of the ancestral or descendant roses are presented along with numbers giving the generation(s) in which each particular rose served as the ancestor or was the descendant. Would it be possible for those numbers to each link to a page that displays the lineage sequence of that led to, or produced, the rose for which the Parentage/Descendants by Name results were being searched for ? This would save a great deal of effort in researching lineages for breeding purposes.
For instance, Parentage by Name results for Baby Love show Zorina in generations 4,5. In this case I would like to click the number '4' and get a chart or list showing something like
Zorina > Eurorose > Bright Smile > Sweet Magic > Baby Love
If I were to click the number '5' I would get something like
Zorina > Anabelle > Memento > Brass Ring > Sweet Magic > Baby Love
Thanks

That's an interesting idea but it would pretty significant effort. Does anyone else concur on the value of this enhancement to HMF.

It sounds like a great idea but since I don't know what kind of effort or the time it would require, I can't make any comment about whether or not it would be worth the effort.

Right now, we just looking to see how many other people would like this feature. Thanks for your feedback.

Definitely an interesting idea. The other thing that would help me is to recognize synonymy. I tried for one of the more popular, or frequently pedigree participating roses, like Briarcliff and got lost looking at all the similar names. Modern roses are the worst where they have 2-5 synonyms puffing up the 4th & 5th generation listings.

Thanks for adding your feedback. The synonym problem is a tough one; the issue being which synonymy to use when there are several. We might be able to improve that though - thanks for bringing it up.

I am a fan of this yellow semi-single sold by Hortico (have never seen it elsewhere). Hardy, floriferous and bullet proof – surprised it is not more widely grown. More hardy, more bug proof and more disease resistant than Carefree Sunshine in my zone 5 Ontario garden
