HelpMeFind's future is in your hands - Please do not take this unique resource for granted.

Your support of HelpMeFind is urgently needed. HelpMeFind, like all websites, needs funding to survive. We have set a premium-membership yearly subscription amount as low as possible to make user-community funding viable.

We are grateful to the many members who have signed up so far, but the number of premium-membership members remains too small for us to sustain the current support and development level. If you value HelpMeFind and want to see it continue we need your support too.

Yearly membership is only $2.00 per month and adds a host of additional features, and numerous planned enhancements, to take full advantage of the power and convenience of HelpMeFind. Click here to start your premium membership..

We of course also welcome donations of any amount. Click here to make a donation. Donations of $24 or more receive a thank-you gift of a 1-year premium membership.

As far as we have come, we feel HelpMeFind is still in its infancy. With your support we have so much more to accomplish.

Mine is fragrant in 90F weather. Moderate scent, similar to some completely yellow roses. Whatever that scent is called (not the lemon/fruit type scent, but the other one common to yellows).

Also, currently, its more orange, with gold-orange underlining, and a little bit of coral cherry at the edges. Definitely a superior rose to 'Ay Caramba!', which it replaced. The color gives me the same feeling the first time I saw the 'Dee Bennett' miniature rose, except 'Volcano' has some darker tones, as well.

No signs of downy in a downy prone spring.

any hip set?

also how do the blooms age, assume the yellow underlay fades complete but the overlay looks like it kind of stays the same?

I wasn't trying to use it for hips, but the pollen works.

The petals do stay a bit longer than they should and become cream and coral pink. Its not bad. Would be better if they dropped cleanly but its not bad.

I would rate this as one of the better intros of the year, and definitely a welcome intro to the warm-toned roses.

So, a "floritea" type? Like Kanegem, Ruby Red, Viva, Sonia etc? Ahh, hmmm. Clear as mud.

Edit: After growing it out, the answer is obvious: Upright floribunda in tight clusters. So a bit like 'Mardis Gras' plant habit.
