C. Earl of Beaconsfield, Jackman.— Eine gute leicht-blühende Varietät der frühen Lanuginosa-Gruppe. Blätter einzeln herzförmig oder dreilappig, mit ovalen, kurz zugespitzten Blättchen. Blumen mittelgross, 8 sepalig; die Sepalen elliptisch-länglich, in eine kurze Spitze auslaufend, sich überdeckend, tief malvenfarbig mit röthlichpflaumenrother Naht. Die weissen Staubfäden stehen in starkem Büschel, Staub-beutel dunkelpurpurn. Gezüchtet aus einer Kreuzung von C. lanuginosa nivea und C. Standishii. Juni bis September.
