Bred by David Charles Zlesak (United States, 2007).
Introduced in United States by Star Roses & Plants (California) in 2019 as 'Pretty Polly Pink'.

Bloom:
Rose-pink.  None to mild fragrance.  22 to 30 petals.  Average diameter 1".  Small, very double, in large clusters bloom form.  Prolific, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  Small buds.  
Habit:
Short, compact, mounded, rounded, well-branched.  Small, semi-glossy, medium green, dense foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 18" to 30" (45 to 75cm).  Width: 2' to 3' (60 to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4a and warmer.  Can be used for ground cover.  Hardy.  vigorous.  Disease susceptibility: disease resistant, blackspot resistant.

The variety 'Zlepolone' originated from a controlled cross conducted by the breeder, David Zlesak, of River Falls, Wisconsin, USA. The cross was made in June 2007 in Minnesota, USA between the female parent variety 'BAlpome' and the male parent variety 'Mountain Mignonette'.

The pollination that led to the new variety of Rosa hybrida polyantha rose plant occurred in June of 2007, wherein two parents were crossed which previously had been studied in the hope that they would contribute the desired characteristics. The female parent (i.e., the seed parent) was `BAlpome` (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 16,602). The male parent (i.e., the pollen parent) was `Mountain Mignonette` (non-patented).
