Discovered by Pat Toolan (Australia, 2009).

Class:

Found Rose.

Bloom:

Red or deep pink. Strong fragrance. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Height: up to 30" (up to 75cm).

Patents:

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Notes:

Jacqui Berry may have first discovered this rose and notified Pat.
Grandma Pfeiler (Jacqui Berry's brother's grandmother-in-law) died in 1909.

Similar to a red 'Caroline Testout' but “Grandma Pfeiler’s” opens completely to show stamens.
The fragrance is different to that of ‘Red Radiance’.
Blooms burn a little in hot weather.
Receptacles: smooth.
Pedicel: a tiny roughness.
Canes: Short flowering stems are generally prickle-free
Bush: Moderately prickly
It starts flowering late winter / early spring
Repeats rapidly throughout the growing season
