British born Peter Joy and his co-workers who started a rose breeding programme originally under a programme at the University of Helsinki. ...A particularly tough one among their releases is 'Lumo' (a seedling of Griffith ‘Buck´s Apple Jack’) which has demonstrated full hardiness in Iceland growing up to 2 m and producing a generous flowering display - disdainful of rain and cold weather.
