Very impressed with Bohemian Rhapsody perfect round-bush-shape, compared to Knock-out's-uneven-bush. It's the best constant-bloomer in my alkaline clay, versus Marie Pavie pausing in between. Its offspring (with Yves Piaget) repeats very fast, despite many petals. Bohemian Rhapsody is a gem with zone 5a winter survival (all green canes), perfect round-bush, continuous blooming, 100% thornless & fragrant and drought-tolerant. I'm interested in buying its future offspring in different colors. If I move, there are only 2 bushes that I would take along: Bohemian Rhapsody and its offspring with Yves Piaget .. both are 100% thornless and never poke me.

After 17 years of putting up with Knock-out, half-eaten by rabbits to be a bare-legged few canes after zone 5a winter .. I am thrilled about Bohemian Rhapsody's ALL GREEN canes after winter, plus THORNLESS pretty round-full bush-shape, and the rabbits don't eat in spring.
Due to excellent winter survival, Bohemian Rhapsody blooms early like Austin roses. We have 3 weeks of no rain, current temp. at 90, and this 100% THORNLESS rose is a gem in my garden, deep pink color with many petals THAT DON'T FADE IN HOT SUN, but. Austin roses fade horribly.

Robert, I have uploaded a 2011 New Zealand reference and the breeder is quoted as "Vane". Is this your rose?

Might be. However, the date is about right, the colour is right, but the breeder's name is not.
If it is yours, I hope you will be getting the proceeds and not Mr. Vane.

My New Zealand contact has advised that the reference was correct and it was a New Zealand rose, bred by Mr. Vane, who unfortunately "died a few weeks ago".
