Re:
Dark Night (hybrid tea, Meilland before 2008)
Beautiful full blooms, classic rose scent, but because own root I am wanting it to be bushier rather than being a two stem wonder.

Re:
Dark Night (hybrid tea, Meilland before 2008)
*** Growing near Houston, TX: sub tropical zone 9a. Mild winters, hot, extremely humid summers that last half the year. ***
Purchased from Regan Spring 2013. First bloom 4/2/13... on the smallish side, but super cute! I have this plant potted for now to see how it does.
9/2013- Summer flowers are mostly red. Very troubled by blackspot, even during high heat and has completely defoliated.
6/4/14- Planted in new garden, though it has no leaves again due to constant blackspot. We will just have to see about this one.
10/30/14- Continues to be plagued by blackspot. I don't know if I'll keep this one.
4/9/2015- I'm still not impressed. As usual, it was the first to blackspot this spring.
