P. officinalis var. blanda. — The leaflets of this variety are somewhat narrower than in rosea, the margins less undulated, and of an uncommon light green colour, rarely, if ever, seen in the typical plant; the habit is much more spreading than in the variety rosea, flower-stems reddish, flowers blush-coloured, very striking and fine.
