Mid-summer, South Australia, zone 9b. I took home 3 hips of "Ma Lovelock's" to cut open: none had formed seeds. I will try later in the season.
I note that Chromatella had several offspring as seed parent.

Is this 'Rev T. C. Cole' or Chromatella or something else? Provenance is a labelled plant at Werribee Park via Geoff Crowhurst then John Nieuwesteeg. Planted 5 months previously and already wanting to climb. Flowers are a soft yellow. My garden at Mount Macedon, Australia. 13 Feb 2021.
