The flowers seem fully doubled and have a dome shape when they open. Flowers have a strong lemon yellow color, somewhat similar to 'Persian Yellow' although this is a Hybrid Spinosissima. Scent is always a matter of taste, I find the scent of 'Aurora' sweet and pleasant. This is a found rose, but a selection has been made available commercially. The original breeder is unknown.
