Book (2004) Page(s) 57. Summer Blush. A new Alba hybrid with a red kordesii rose, raised by Sievers in Germany and introduced in 1988. It has strong-growing, arching stems to 5 ft (1.5 m). The flowers are bright red, fully double, and almost Gallica-like, produced only in early summer with a strong sweet scent. Hardy to -30°F (-34° C), Zone 4.
