Renowned Australian rose breeder, George Thomson produced this highly perfumed rose. Would be good as a standard as well as a carpet rose or on a tripod as I grow it. Photo taken in December 2017

South Australia, zone 9b, late spring. Plant 3 or 4 years old. Best trained as a climber, to prevent it rooting down (layering itself).

Adelaide Botanic Gardens, Rose Trial Grounds, zone 9b. Autumn. 2 plants. It has luciae (wichurana) prickles and will occasionally root down, but not with the aggression of roses with more luciae ancestry.
