'Dickson's Multiflora' rose References
Article (misc)  (1934)

Dickson's Multiflora.—About thirty years ago several seedling Multifloras appeared from seed, and several are in use to a small extent still.
The most popular one is what has been known as Dickson's, because it was isolated as a shoot from below the bud of a named Rose imported from Dickson's, of Newtownards, by Mr. W. E. Lippiatt, and used by him and others freely as a stock for practically all classes of Roses, with excellent results.
