Book (1979) Page(s) 30. Roy and Heather Rumsey, NSW. New Roses. Seashell (Kordes): Hybrid tea type. An All American Rose Selection for 1976. Salmon, with a creamy-yellow base. The over-all colour is a luminous soft coral salmon, with a deeper edge to the petals. Buds are nice, and the blooms open fairly large, with about 30 petals. There are many clusters as well as the usual solitary blooms expected. As usual the clusters come more in spring. Free flowering and very fragrant. Freely branched, upright plants with dark green foliage, and better than average disease resistance, and few thorns.
