Edward E. Pescott. Rose Hedges. Lastly there is the border hedge, which would have a limit of two or three feet in height. This woiuld really form a garden border, or a division border between certain sections of the garden. Here we could use roses of the polyantha and similar types; thus we would here use Ellen Poulsen, Maman Turbat, Orleans Rose, Rodhatte for the very low border, and E. N. Ward and Leonie Lamesch for the situation where a taller bordering is required.
