W. A. Bilney (Hybrid Tea) has large semi-double flowers of pale apricot-yellow shaded with primrose, borne upon long stems from vigorous plants, with erect growth and dark green foliage.

New Roses 1928. W. A. Bilney (HT.   W. Easlea & Sons 1927) Pale apricot, the back of the petals are primrose. The outer petals are tinted and edged with crushed strawberry. The petals are enormous, and the fully expanded flowers resemble a large Paeony of most artistic colouring. Not specially full. Dark green foliage of leathery texture; few thorns; stout erect stems; slight fragrance; good habit. Good for garden and bedding.
