A List of Sixty Choice Peonies of the More Expensive Varieties
Pink Varieties
Solange (Lemoine).  9.7.  The color of this variety is a deep orange salmon, or Havana-brown at the heart over-laid with a delicate, tender, rich cream.  This variety comes into bloom late mid-season, is rose type, and a splendid variety.  This variety does not come perfect every year, but when it does come good and is seen in the show room, it is a difficult variety to beat.
