Bloom:
Pink. Average diameter 1". Single (4-8 petals), in small clusters bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, bushy. 5 to 7 leaflets.
Height: 6'7" (200cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be used for shrub.

Notes:
Section Cinnamomeae. Native to S.W. Sichuan. Described as similar to R. forrestiana. This species has two forms, one with smooth receptacle and sepals, and the other, Rosa pinnatisepala f. glandulosa, with densely glandular pubescent receptacle and sepals. See References.
