The hybridizer of Peggy M is the late Paul Jerabek. Paul became a member of the American Rose Society in 1945 and later became one of 12 charter members of the Rose Hybridizers Association. There was an article on Paul Jerabek's roses in the January, '08 American Rose that had a description of the Peggy M shrub rose: "Peggy M is unique among shrub roses, showing the color tracing of Sam McGredy's hand-painted roses on a fluffy full-petaled rose. With buff yellow blooms, etched with pink to mauve highlights, the overall effect is what one might expect from a hand-painted David Austin English Rose."

Yikes! The photo looks nice, but there seems to be a lack of information on this rose. It is being sold by Roses Unlimited, whom I will ask about the plant to get more information. Does anyone have any information about the plant? Has anyone grown it??

Sitting amongst a sea of roses defoliated by blackspot, it remains beautifully green and completely unaware of the destruction around it! Amazing disease resistance...Jerabek would be proud!
