Introduced in France by Jean Laffay in before 1835 as 'Pallavicini'.

Bloom:
White, yellow shading.  Strong, sweet fragrance.  Average diameter 2".  Medium, semi-double to double bloom form.

Notes:
Many exponents of the Pallavicini family were famous. Possibly dedicated to Marquis Antonio Pallavicini, who in 1796 signed the treaty of suspension of arms for the Duchy of Parma with Napoléon.
