Discovered by Unknown (1883).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Daisy Hill Nursery in circa 1901 as 'Narrow Water'.
Class:
Noisette.  
Bloom:
Light pink.  Moderate fragrance.  Average diameter 1.75".  Small, single to semi-double, cluster-flowered, in large clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, climbing.  

Height: up to 8' (up to 245cm).  Width: up to 6' (up to 185cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Notes:
Discovered at Narrow Water castle near Newry, Northern Ireland, where also the Daisy Hill Nursery was located. Narrow Water Castle was the seat of the Hall Family and in 1883 the home of Roger Hall, Esq. (1791-1864).
Meg Peterson reports that this rose is shade tolerant.
