Miriam Wilkins is an incredible rose! Got a band this spring from Rogue Valley, but was not able to get it in the ground until the middle of July, a few days before the heatwave hit around here (southeast VT). I did not have much hope that she would make it through high 90's and humidity as she looked like she was dying, but actually she was only going dormant. A few weeks after the heat broke, leaf buds appeared, then leaves and buds, and then blossoms of the most beautiful rich pink. And what a delicious sweet rose scent! Now she is about 2 feet high by 18 inches wide, covered with healthy leaves and offering me lots of buds. Very pleased with this rose AND with Rogue Valley Roses. Now, if I am lucky, she will make it through a zone 5 winter!
