I love the grey/green foliage on this rose. The red stems are nice as well. I'm hoping that the foliage stays the same color as it matures. It has not bloomed yet and that was expected. Robert did a nice job on this cross.

Jeff, this cross was made by Joan Monteith. She sent the seedlings to me when they were still quite small.

Nice to know they are blue where you are. I never saw much blue coloration in my climate.

I have descendants. They are likely blue as well. Obviously in my climate it doesn't show or I can't see it.

I got several cuttings from Robert Rippetoe last October (2009) and rooted them. They are still fairly small, but I think that's my fault. I hate killing things by over fertilizing. After some nasty Spring weather four have survived and one has actually set a bud. I amazed since these should not be setting flowers for at least another year. Pictures to follow in a day or two.

Jeff, actually there were several individual seedlings growing as a group. Each should be a unique seedling from this cross. Hopefully you were able to separate them.
