Here are two bloom clusters, they are held above the plant, and look pink-lilac from a distance. These blooms will darken as they age, and diminish in size to 1/2 inch, and become more fragrant. May 8, 2012

These 1 inch blooms have a moderate scent to the nose, but it wafts under certain conditions, they also darken so their must be some China in it's background. The blooms are in clusters at the ends of the canes, and seem to bloom in 2-3 flushes per season, I missed the spring sendoff. Photo taken May 1, 2012
