‘Schloss Seusslitz’ has a citrus-fruity scent without the unpleasant R. foetida-like odor. The major scent component is geranyl acetate, and the ratio of other acetates such as citronellyl acetate and 2-phenylethyl acetate is also high. Fatty acid derivatives, the charac‐ teristic scent components of R. foetida, were not detect‐ ed.
