'Burning Bush' rose Reviews & Comments

I grow it in zone 8A. It does poorly on its own roots, strongly recommend a rootstock. I had mine custom grafted by cool roses. It does blackspot, but not as badly as some roses. Sometimes throws hips, but not often. Quite thorny. The flower makes it all worthwhile. Despite everything negative, for me, it's a keeper.

It certainly is an eye catcher! Looks like it must have Hulthemia somewhere in the family tree.

Does anyone know where to buy Paul Ecke Jr? Armstrong Roses does not sell to the retail trade. I love this rose and would like to add it to my garden. Please help!

Cliff, while visiting the Paul Ecke Jr HMF site today, I see that Euro Desert Roses is now listed as a supplier of this rose. On your return from the ARS Convention, if it is available, please enter my order for one and ship asap for Fall planting. I should have my e-mail problem resolved on Weds 11/18 and will confirm my order to you then. Thanks, Barbara
