Veronique B has a very strong and distinctive fragrance, to my nose it smells of marzipan! Quite delicious and unique. The plant takes a couple of years at least to establish. In the first year in my garden the flowers had vegetative centres and an odd colour. In subsequent years the true colour developed and it is now one of my favourite roses.
