Because of my experience, I have to disagree about rain-tolerance, like a member in Sweden does too in her comment.
And as for the blooms: I respectfully disagree too.
As for that, one of my photo's of this rose says more than words ever could.
It might be more winter-hardy, more disease resistant too and more often flowering, but for us it's a keeper despite its "flaws".

Yes, exactly. That is why we both try to say where we are growing roses, which I love.
My memory for this rose was from the late 90s, and white roses before it, with some rare exceptions were very prone to essentially melting in the rain or even humidity. So this one stuck at as one that was less bad. I can recall Tineke, Pascali, and Polarstern before it, as a few others that did not here.
I don't know if the ARS does this anymore, but they used to review roses in their annuals, and they would list what location the reviews were from.

Jay-Jay, in your area, when it rains the most, what is the temperature like? I was thinking about this post while working outside on Royal Philharmonic (awesome rose here), and had wondered this. Here, it is often a very cold rain, in April or October. 'Moonstone', for example, cannot open properly here until it is quite warm. So this made me wonder about the effect on some roses. When the weather is like that (cold, wet), KB tends to turn greenish-white and stiff. A few others, too, like Polarstern, Tineke, JFK. In contrast, roses like Pascali or Whisper with have sort of a pale peach tint to them in that sort of weather.

I live in a (North-)sea-climate...leaning towards land-climate... Rains can hardly be predicted, but the bulk of it mostly falls in fall and winters.
Most of the years April tends to be dry, but with the climate-shift, one can never tell for sure.
In summer the showers may bring cold.... as well as warm rains. So I can't give You a definite answer to Your question.
But yes, over here too, in colder periods the flowers might get a hunch/touch of green, just like Eden can get.

A very nice white rose, suitable for the southernmost part of Norway. But it could have been better when it comes to rain resistance.
