Early-blooming roses. This year before all bloomed from May 18 onwards: Rosa morica, large single pink; R. Wallensis, carmine-pink; R. pimpinellifolia lutescens, single light yellow; R. Stanwelli perpetuel, double white; R. Dorpatensis, R. alpina, R. Revesi.
Some Tea and Rugosa varieties are expanding, so that the rose bloom will surely have started in the Mosel valley early June. 
On the 28th are in bloom: Xanteria, Jaune bicolor, Aglaia, Carmine Pillar, Morgenrot, Beauty of Rosemawer, R. Sericea, Scharnkeana. P L. [Peter Lambert, Trier]
