'Jean Bach-Sisley' rose Reviews & Comments

I planted Jean Bach Sisley in the fall, and a worse-than-normal winter killed her to the ground. That's rare here.
I went to check on the wonderful specimen at Norfolk Botanical and could not find it. They may have lost her too!

Vintage calls this "a superior shrub for the garden" and I agree, having seen the beautiful specimen at Norfolk Botanical Gardens in Norfolk, Virginia. An exceptionally graceful, symmetrical shrub with abundant dark foliage which carries its large blooms elegantly. Absolutely one of the best Chinas for the garden.

The form and foliage of this rose makes it attractive even when it's not in bloom. They can grow taller and wider than the four feet listed in the description. Mine are over five feet tall and across.
