The photos do not do this rose justice. I have tried to photograph it, but the pictures come out bad, since the rose reflects so much light back, even when overcast.

This rose is essentially a polyantha. It is a 3.5' sphere of ruffled blooms. The color in cool weather is bright scarlet, with a faint orange hue. The color in hot weather is dull cherry color, with a darker red overcast. The blooms are very small, and the clusters are very large. Blooms start a few weeks later than most roses, and then it never stops. I think it is pretty.
