There was a suggestion some years ago that a true Irene Watts might still exist in New Zealand. What's its current status there?

1986 New Zealand Rose Annual p65. Jennifer Howard. Save Our Tea Roses. Many of you will know the pale pink cupped Tea Rose with a "gutsy" constitution, found growing throughout New Zealand. "Teddy" Roosevelt wore a flower of it in his buttonhole. America and the rest of the world seemingly know it as 'Duchesse de Brabant'. In New Zealand we love it and grow it as 'Irene Watts'.

It's thought that a true Irene Watts is no longer in Australia, at least not by that name. Pink Gruss an Aachen and "Agnes Smith" are both sold as Irene Watts.
