Class:

Hybrid Wichurana, Shrub.

Bloom:

White, yellow stamens. None / no fragrance. 5 petals. Average diameter 3". Medium, single (4-8 petals), in large clusters, flat to cupped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Pointed buds.

Habit:

Bushy, spreading. Small, glossy, dark green foliage. 3 to 5 leaflets.

Height: up to 2' (up to 60cm). Width: 3' to 6' (90 to 185cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for ground cover. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.

This invention relates to a new and distinct variety of shrub Rose, Rosa L. The varietal denomination of the new variety is `Orawichkay`. It has as its seed parent the unpatented variety known as `DIComono` and as its pollen parent, an unnamed and unpatented cultivar of the species rose known as Rosa wichuriana. It is believed that botanically, the new variety would be classified as a hybrid species of Rosa wichuriana.
